SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 671
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Victoria Taylor, who has earned the Girl Scout Gold
Award; she is being presented the coveted award by the Girl
Scouts of Northeast Texas on May 19, 2019; and
WHEREAS, Few receive this distinguished award, which is
the highest level of achievement in the Girl Scout program; and
WHEREAS, Through the process of earning the Gold Award,
girls develop a lifelong commitment to community service and gain
skills that will contribute to their future success; and
WHEREAS, Victoria has displayed leadership by designing
and conducting a service project that will have a positive and
lasting effect on her community; and
WHEREAS, In receiving the Gold Award, Victoria has brought
great honor to herself, her family, her council, her community,
and her state, and she deserves recognition for her exceptional
accomplishments; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th
Legislature, hereby commend Victoria Taylor on earning the Girl
Scout Gold Award and congratulate her on her outstanding
achievement; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
