Frank, Chair, House Committee on Human Services FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board IN RE: HB1003 by Dutton (Relating to the establishment of the private child care task force.), As Introduced No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would create the Private Child Care Task Force to study private child care providers in this state and methods to reduce the amounts charged for and increase the availability of child care provided by private child care providers. Members of the task force are not entitled to compensation for service on the task force but are entitled to reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred in performing task force duties. The task force may accept gifts, grants, and donations to pay for those expenses. Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
