                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD     Austin, Texas       FISCAL NOTE, 87TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION             April 26, 2021       TO: Honorable Greg Bonnen, Chair, House Committee on Appropriations     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: HB1063 by Bell, Cecil (Relating to the Texas State Guard uniform and insignia fund.), As Introduced     No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would amend the Government Code as it relates to the Texas State Guard uniform and insignia fund. According to the Comptroller, the bill would not make an appropriation, but would establish the basis for an appropriation for the fund, which is not a state fund. The costs associated with the bill's provisions could be absorbed using existing resources.  Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
