It is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to authorizing certain persons to carry a handgun without a license could be absorbed using existing resources.This analysis assumes implementing the provisions of the bill addressing felony sanctions for criminal offenses would not result in a significant impact on state correctional agencies.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
