                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD     Austin, Texas       FISCAL NOTE, 87TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION             April 9, 2021       TO: Honorable Terry Canales, Chair, House Committee on Transportation     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: HB1321 by Bell, Keith (Relating to the designation of a portion of State Highway 198 in Henderson County as the Deputy Sheriff Tony Ogburn and Deputy Sheriff Paul Habelt Memorial Highway.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would amend Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, to require the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to design, construct, and erect highway markers naming a specific portion or segment of state highway. Based on the information provided by TxDOT, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.
