The bill would amend the Election Code to require the Secretary of State (SOS) to develop and implement a system that allows a voter to track the status of vote-by-mail applications and ballots.According to the SOS, the bill would require additional programming to the existing Texas Election Administration (TEAM) system; however, the costs of these modifications could be absorbed within existing resources.
