                    H.B. No. 1456


 AN ACT
 relating to the expiration of the health care provider
 participation program administered and operated by the Nueces
 County Hospital District.
 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
 SECTION 1.  Section 298C.004, Health and Safety Code, as
 added by Chapter 694 (S.B. 2315), Acts of the 86th Legislature,
 Regular Session, 2019, is repealed.
 SECTION 2.  Section 2, Chapter 694 (S.B. 2315), Acts of the
 86th Legislature, Regular Session, 2019, is repealed.
 SECTION 3.  To the extent of any conflict, this Act prevails
 over another Act of the 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021,
 relating to nonsubstantive additions to and corrections in enacted
 codes.
 SECTION 4.  This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution.  If this
 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
 Act takes effect September 1, 2021.
