(Original Author's/Sponsor's Statement of Intent)   C.S.H.B. 1456 amends current law relating to the expiration of the health care provider participation program administered and operated by the Nueces County Hospital District.   RULEMAKING AUTHORITY   This bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, institution, or agency.   SECTION BY SECTION ANALYSIS   SECTION 1. Repealer: Section 298C.004 (Expiration), Health and Safety Code, as added by Chapter 694 (S.B. 2315), Acts of the 86th Legislature, Regular Session, 2019.    SECTION 2. Repealer: Section 2, Chapter 694 (S.B. 2315), Acts of the 86th Legislature, Regular Session, 2019.    SECTION 3. Provides that, to the extent of any conflict, this Act prevails over another Act of the 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021, relating to nonsubstantive additions to and corrections in enacted codes.    SECTION 4. Effective date: upon passage or September 1, 2021.

H.B. 1456 repeals the sunset date of the Nueces County LPPF.

C.S.H.B. 1456 amends current law relating to the expiration of the health care provider participation program administered and operated by the Nueces County Hospital District.
