The bill would amend the Texas Government Code relating to certain orders, proclamations, and regulations issued in response to a disaster by the Governor or the presiding officer of the governing body of a political subdivision.According to the Office of the Governor, any additional work resulting from the provisions of the bill would be absorbed within current resources.
