Based on information provided by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), it is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to establishing reimbursement rates for certain child-care providers participating in the subsidized child-care program administered by TWC could be absorbed using existing resources, provided the technology changes required for implementation of the bill can be aligned with the agency's current information technology project for the new Child Care Case Management System, scheduled to be completed in fiscal year 2022.
