The bill would provide a civil penalty for noncompliance. According to the Office of Court Administration, no significant fiscal impact to the state court system is anticipated. According to the Office of the Attorney General, no fiscal impact to the state is anticipated. According to the Comptroller of Public Accounts, the fiscal impact cannot be determined as the number of cases of noncompliance that would result in penalty revenue is unknown.
