The bill would require OCA to make this information available in an electronic spreadsheet format easily downloadable from OCA's website in a way searchable by date and jurisdiction. The bill would also require OCA to prescribe the categories of suits required for report and establish the landlord/tenant dispute database as soon as practicable.

Fiscal Analysis

Methodology
Based on information provided by OCA, this analysis assumes a one-time cost of $300,000 would be necessary to develop a system to accept and maintain the statistical information required by the bill. It is also assumed that OCA would provide ongoing support for the new system with existing resources.
