The bill would amend the Government Code as it relates to the definition of a close relative of a deceased victim under certain circumstances. It is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions could be absorbed using existing resources.This analysis assumes implementing the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
