The bill would require the legislature to establish a joint interim committee to study the effects of altering the composition of the boards of directors of several river authorities. The committee would be required to submit a report of its findings to the legislature no later that December 1, 2022, and would be abolished December 31, 2022. This analysis assumes that the duties and responsibilities of the bill could be accomplished using existing resources.
