The bill would amend the Property Code and Occupations Code to authorize a lessor of a self-service storage facility, in enforcement of a lien, to have certain property towed and possession of the property transferred to a vehicle storage facility for disposition of the property by the vehicle storage facility.Based on the analysis of the Department of Licensing and Regulation and the Department of Motor Vehicles, it is assumed the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant fiscal or operational impact to the State.
