The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code to define an antique outboard motor as an outboard motor that is at least 40 years of age. The bill would exempt antique outboard motors that are 25 horsepower or less from title requirements. The bill would be effective September 1, 2021. Based on information provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources.
