It is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to an annual audit of the independent organization certified for the ERCOT power region would be paid for by ERCOT and overseen by the Public Utility Commission (PUC).  The cost to the PUC would not be significant and could be absorbed using existing resources.   Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
