The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to provide that any order to destroy a dog is stayed for a period of 10 calendar days from the date the order is issued, during which period the dog's owner may file a notice of appeal.According to the Office of Court Administration (OCA), no significant fiscal impact to the State court system is anticipated.  Local Government ImpactAccording to OCA, no significant fiscal impact to units of local government is anticipated.
