The bill would authorize the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) or a health authority to send certain communications related to the prevention of communicable diseases by e-mail with a read receipt requested. DSHS indicated the provisions of the bill could be implemented within existing resources.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
