Kolkhorst, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: HB3366 by Klick (Relating to authorizing the electronic transmission of certain communications related to the prevention of communicable diseases.), Committee Report 2nd House, Substituted     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would authorize the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) or a health authority to send certain communications related to the prevention of communicable diseases by e-mail with a read receipt requested if the recipient consents. DSHS indicated the provisions of the bill could be implemented within existing resources.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
