The will would amend Chapter 2155 of the Government Code to require the Comptroller to approve one or more entities that would certify certain information used to receive a purchasing preference for recycled products. A state agency would be required to provide notice of the preference for recycled products in all solicitation documents for purchases of goods by the agency.
