The bill would require that each local education agency (LEA) report certain data related to disciplinary measures to the Texas Education Agency. TEA would be required to publish aggregated data based in a report and each LEA would be required to provide the report to parents and on its web site. This analysis assumes that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
