                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD     Austin, Texas       FISCAL NOTE, 87TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION             March 30, 2021       TO: Honorable Rafael Anchia, Chair, House Committee on Pensions, Investments & Financial Services     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: HB3510 by Lambert (Relating to authorizing the Texas Finance Commission to ensure that employees of regulated entities may work from home under certain circumstances.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner (OCCC) anticipates that the bill would result in a reduced number of licensed locations, reducing the revenue assessed by the OCCC.  The OCCC is a self-directed, semi-independent state entity and does not receive appropriated funds. The OCCC notes that they would likely need to offset this loss by an increase in fees.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
