A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the payment methods for cigarette and tobacco products
permit fees.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 154.1135(b), Tax Code, is amended to
read as follows:
(b) The payment must be made in cash or by money order, [or]
check, or credit card.
SECTION 2. Section 155.050(b), Tax Code, is amended to read
as follows:
(b) The payment must be made in cash or by money order, [or]
check, or credit card.
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021.
