The bill would amend the Civil Practices and Remedies Code related to the limitation of liability for farm animal activities. The bill would expand several definitions and would provide that certain persons may be liable under certain circumstances for property damage or damages arising from the personal injury or death caused by a participant in a farm animal activity or livestock show. The bill would also require the posting of a liability limitation warning notice in certain locations and in certain written contracts.The Office of Court Administration anticipates no significant fiscal impact to the state court system due to implementing the provisions of the bill. Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
