The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to authorize the use of certain funds derived from criminal asset forfeiture to cover the costs of a contract with a municipal or county program offering services to domestic victims of human trafficking.According to the Office of Court Administration, no significant fiscal impact to the state court system is anticipated. According to the Comptroller of Public Accounts, no fiscal impact to the state is anticipated.   Local Government ImpactAccording to the Houston Police Department, the bill would have no fiscal impact on its operations.The Office of Court Administration anticipates no significant fiscal impact to local government.
