The bill would amend the Water Code to specify that the law regarding uniform grant and contract management does not apply to the Flood Infrastructure Fund, the Texas Infrastructure and Resiliency Fund, or the Agricultural Water Conservation bond program. The bill would be effective September 1, 2021. Based on information provided by the Texas Water Development Board, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources.
