The bill would amend the Government Code relating to treating persons who were dishonorably discharged from the military solely on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity as honorably discharged veterans under state law. It is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions could be absorbed using existing resources.  Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
