A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to information about candidate filings held by fresh water
supply districts.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 53, Water Code, is amended
by adding Section 53.090 to read as follows:
Sec. 53.090. CANDIDATE FILINGS. A district shall, on
request, provide by mail information filed by a candidate for
office with the district under Chapter 144, Election Code.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021.
