The bill would amend the Family Code to provide that if the petitioner requests the establishment or modification of periods of possession of or access to a child, the citation must include notice of the options for periods of possession of or access to a child under a standard possession order under Chapter 153, Subchapter F.The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to provide that if a pending dispute concerns the establishment or modification of periods of possession of or access to a child, the notification must include notice of the alternative beginning and ending times for possession of or access to a child under Family Code Section 153.317.Based on information provided by the Office of Court Administration, no significant fiscal impact to the state court system is anticipated as a result from implementing the provisions of the bill.
