(Relating to the authority to request attorney general advice on questions relating to actions in which the state is interested.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would amend the Government Code, Section 402.043, to expand the public officials authorized to request an Office of the Attorney General opinion. The bill would authorize an employee of a county who serves as head of the county's civil legal department to obtain written advice from the Office of the Attorney General.It is assumed that any costs associated with the provisions of the bill would be absorbed within current resources.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
