Under the provisions of the bill, individuals serving sentences for certain trafficking of persons offenses would be ineligible for release to parole supervision.The Office of Court Administration, the Department of Criminal Justice, and the Board of Pardons and Paroles indicate the modifications outlined in the bill's provisions will not result in a significant fiscal impact. This analysis assumes implementing the provisions of the bill addressing felony sanctions would not result in a significant impact on the demand for state correctional resources.
