The bill would require the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to adopt rules to provide Medicaid reimbursement for peer-to-peer services provided by recovery community organizations. Additionally, HHSC would be required to establish a work group to provide input regarding the rules.This analysis assumes there would be a minimal cost associated with implementing the provisions of the bill that could be absorbed within current resources.
