The bill would amend Section 2153.051 of the Occupations Code as it relates to coin-operated machines to require the Comptroller to disclose certain confidential information to law enforcement agencies upon submission of a written request. The bill would amend Section 2153.305(a) of the Occupations Code to expand the Comptroller's authority as it relates to tax permits and licenses issued by the Comptroller. It is assumed that costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed with existing resources.
