The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $178,333. The joint resolution would propose an amendment to Article III, Section 49-g (c) of the Texas Constitution to permit additional uses of oil and natural gas severance tax-related revenue transferred to the State Highway Fund.Adoption of the proposed constitutional amendment would have no fiscal impact to the State or units of local government other than the cost of publication.The cost to the State for publication of the resolution is $178,333.The proposed amendment would be submitted to voters at an election to be held November 2, 2021.
