H.R. No. 1291
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories
of Sonia Castellano Vasquez of Dallas, who passed away on February
3, 2021, at the age of 49; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of Rosa and Wence Castellano, Sonia
Vasquez was born on December 16, 1971, in Dallas; an admired
professional, she enjoyed a successful career as a Realtor; and
WHEREAS, In all her endeavors, Ms. Vasquez shared in the love
and support of her husband, Oscar Lee Vasquez, and she took great
pride in her children, Zenidah, Nathaniel, and Breana; with the
passing years, she had the pleasure of seeing her family grow to
include two grandchildren, Alenyna and Audrey; and
WHEREAS, Deeply devoted to her family and to her faith, Sonia
Vasquez lived a full and generous life surrounded by those she
loved, and they will forever carry her close in their hearts; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Sonia Castellano
Vasquez and extend sincere condolences to all who mourn her
passing; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Sonia
Vasquez.
