R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Aqsa Amjad has been named salutatorian of the Class
of 2021 at Sharpstown High School, and she indeed merits special
recognition for receiving this significant honor; and
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
highest academic standards; Ms. Amjad demonstrated a thorough
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable
high school career; and
WHEREAS, Following graduation, Ms. Amjad plans to attend
Middlebury College; and
WHEREAS, Aqsa Amjad has earned the respect and admiration of
her teachers and classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability
and commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Aqsa Amjad on graduating as
salutatorian of the Class of 2021 at Sharpstown High School and
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she
begins the next exciting chapter of her life.
