R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Clint Maurer of Panhandle High School has achieved
notable success in the 2021 University Interscholastic League
Academic State Meet, held from April 30 to May 1; and
WHEREAS, Competing against some of the brightest students in
the Lone Star State, Mr. Maurer won a silver medal for his strong
performance in the 2A social studies contest; and
WHEREAS, Through his hard work and commitment to excellence,
Clint Maurer has distinguished himself in the state's premier high
school academic competition, and his accomplishments are a source
of great pride to his school and community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Clint Maurer on earning the silver
medal in the 2A social studies contest at the 2021 UIL Academic
State Meet and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Maurer as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
