R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The members of the A.C.T.I.O.N. Steering Committee
for House District 102 have demonstrated exceptional dedication to
addressing the needs of their community; and
WHEREAS, Facilitated by the office of State Representative
Ana-Maria Ramos, the A.C.T.I.O.N. (All Coming Together in Our
Neighborhood) Steering Committee is focused on improving the lives
of residents in the district; in addition to the group's monthly
meetings, task forces within the committee meet weekly to discuss
issues related to education, public health, community, economics,
public safety, and housing; and
WHEREAS, Through their admirable commitment to making House
District 102 an even better place to live and work, the members of
the A.C.T.I.O.N. Steering Committee have brought about positive
change in their community, and they have set an example of civic
engagement to which their fellow Texans may aspire; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby commend the members of the A.C.T.I.O.N. Steering
Committee for House District 102 and extend to them sincere best
wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the committee as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
