H.R. No. 721
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lopez Pressure Wash of Corrigan has been selected as
a 2020 Small Business of the Year by the Lufkin/Angelina County
Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, Each year, the chamber honors businesses for their
contributions to the local community, and Lopez Pressure Wash was
named as the recipient for Division 3, which consists of companies
with 10 or fewer employees; and
WHEREAS, Ashley and Francisco Lopez began a side business
pressure washing trucks in 2011, and seven years later, they
officially established Lopez Pressure Wash as a full-time
operation; since its founding, the company has expanded its
services to include pressure washing of residential and commercial
properties; moreover, the business has proven to be a generous
community partner by volunteering to clean local playgrounds during
the COVID-19 pandemic; and
WHEREAS, Small businesses play a critical role in meeting the
needs of area residents, and the owners and employees of Lopez
Pressure Wash may take great pride in this notable honor; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Lopez Pressure Wash on its
selection as a 2020 Small Business of the Year by the
Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce and extend to all those
associated with the company sincere best wishes for continued
success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the business as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
