Kolkhorst, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: SB1079 by Campbell (Relating to monthly reports of certain activity of the Department of Family and Protective Services.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would amend Family Code to require the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to publish a monthly report on various metrics.   Based on analysis of DFPS, it is assumed that the costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
