The bill would amend the Election Code to require a county that holds or provides election services for an election administered by the county and a city or independent school district that holds an election to post on its public Internet website, provided it maintains one, certain information about those elections. The bill specifies certain requirements for the location of the required information. According to the Secretary of State, no significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
