The bill would amend the Education Code to prohibit institutions of higher education from adopting policies that would prohibit student athletes from earning compensation or obtaining professional representation. It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
