Kolkhorst, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: SB1692 by Miles (Relating to the provision of home dialysis care by a dialysis technician.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would allow dialysis technicians to provide home dialysis care, including hemodialysis, under certain conditions. The bill would require the executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission to adopt rules as necessary.The Health and Human Services Commission indicates any cost to implement provisions of the bill would be minimal and could be absorbed within available resources.
