Kolkhorst, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: SB171 by Blanco (Relating to a report regarding Medicaid reimbursement rates and access to care.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would require the Health and Human Services Commission to prepare and submit a report regarding provider reimbursement rates and access to care under Medicaid. The Health and Human Services Commission anticipates any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources.
