The bill would amend Chapter 533 of the Government Code to require a Medicaid managed care organization to maintain an electronic directory of contact information for Medicaid recipients enrolled in the organization's managed care plan and share a copy of the directory with the Health and Human Services Commission on a monthly basis. The Health and Human Services Commission indicates that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.
