                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD     Austin, Texas       FISCAL NOTE, 87TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION             April 9, 2021       TO: Honorable Charles Perry, Chair, Senate Committee on Water, Agriculture & Rural Affairs     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: SB1890 by Creighton (Relating to the applicability of uniform grant and contract management standards to certain Texas Water Development Board programs.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would amend the Water Code to specify that the law regarding uniform grant and contract   management does not apply to the Flood Infrastructure Fund, the Texas Infrastructure and Resiliency Fund, or the Agricultural Water Conservation bond program. The bill would be effective September 1, 2021. Based on information provided by the Texas Water Development Board, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources.
