Kolkhorst, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: SB239 by Powell (Relating to the provision of educational materials regarding disease prevention during a disaster.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would require the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to develop and implement a disease prevention information system for dissemination of immunization information during a declared state of disaster or local state of disaster. DSHS and the Health and Human Services Commission indicate the provisions of the bill could be implemented with existing resources.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
