The bill would designate the 11th day of each month as Buddy Check Day to encourage veterans to contact other veterans who may need assistance. According to the Office of the Governor, any anticipated costs associated with the provisions of this bill could reasonably be absorbed within current resources.It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within current resources of the Texas Veteran's Commission.
