The bill would amend the Local Government Code to require the commissioners court of each county to establish a sexual assault response team. The bill would authorize two or more contiguous counties, each with a population of 50,000 or less, to partner to form a multicounty response team.  Local Government ImpactThe fiscal implications of the bill cannot be determined at this time due to an absence of responses from units of local government.
